Stuart Ching first began curation of museum and archives collections during his eleven years as an archivist at Bishop Museum. He went on to become curator at Mission Houses Museum and, later, at ʻIolani Palace. Since 2010, he has been Sacred Hearts archivist and a member of the exhibit planning team for the Damien and Marianne of Molokaʻi Education Center. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Association of Hawaiʻi Archivists, Hawaiʻi Museums Association, and Hawaiian Historical Society. In 2020, he was awarded the Companionate of Merit by the Military and Hospitaller Order of Saint Lazarus of Jerusalem.
